OUTDOOR PAcKAGES

This project develops a seasonal material package for an outdoor franchise, supporting both existing external customers and targeted new audiences within the outdoor category.

The strategy is built around two complementary material packages.

PACKAGE 1:
The first package focuses on the Techwear trend, where visible technology (Vis-Tech) moves beyond pure performance and into lifestyle applications. It is built on accessible, commercially proven materials, elevated through trend-driven constructions, surface treatments, and finishes, validated by forecasting tools such as WGSN, ensuring seasonal relevance, scalability, and commercial viability.

PACKAGE 2:

The second package adopts an inside-out, material-led approach, drawing inspiration from FILSON’s heritage, with a focus on its iconic waxed canvas, reinterpreted through a contemporary CMF (Color, Material, Finish) lens.

Together, these packages balance commercial confidence with innovation and heritage-driven material expression

EMPATHIZING

The process starts with empathizing with brand partners, understanding their DNA, category focus, and strategic direction. Market analysis then informs positioning, competitive context, and opportunity areas. These insights guide material decisions aligned with both brand intent and commercial goals.

ALIGNING

The process focuses on aligning with existing brand materials and specifications to ensure developments are closely tailored to expectations. This alignment anticipates customer requirements, production capabilities, and approved product techniques, enabling smooth integration into existing workflows. As a result, material proposals remain both relevant and production-ready
